I had our friendly neighbourhood Jehovah's Witness stop by today. Although not of any religion really myself at the moment, I have a strong background in theology and normally love to invite these fuckers in and debate with them. I whip out my Catholic (oh blasphemy) version of the Bible and go peg to peg against that outdated King James.
But alas today, he called around during breakfast. The kids were in a state, I had people coming for lunch, it was not to be. My sole aim was to get rid of him as quickly as possible.
The three year old who was enjoying her cheerios at the table, obviously caught the gist of our conversation and shouted out "Mommy, is that God at the door?"
Didn't really help my cause at all!
Thanks to everyone for the supportive comments and blog posts on the other issue. I appreciate your concern! No update... still waiting... just getting on with it as they say.

Have you contacted the press? I'm sure Una http://unarocks.blogspot.com/ would do an interview. I think you need to name and shame to get some joy on this. I'm sorry and good luck.

Hi Green Ink - Yes, I've thought about it, but I'm sure I'm not the only woman in this position, and I'm sure many of them are substantially older and as such more of a risk. I don't want to kick up fuss or jump ahead in a queue that shouldn't exist in the first place. I did write to Gerry Ryan, but he never read the email. I also don't want to jeopardise myself if and when I eventually get seen. I suppose I should reconsider as this is getting crazy...

I understand, but just to let you know Cian from Irish Election is in the Last Word at the moment and is interested in covering this. If you want to send me your number penofgreenink at hotmail.com I can pass it on. You could talk anonymously. The point is this needs to be kept in the public glare, and you're not looking to jump any queue.

I was a size 8 when I got pregnant, but went up to a 10 and then a 12 by the time my daughter was born. I have an hourglass body type, so I have full breasts and wide hips. During pregnancy, they both got much larger, and I simply couldn't fit into size 8 maternity clothes. Where my body changed and filled out required me to size up.
